ElectroRoute COVID-19 Response Update

 

As part of ElectroRoute’s ongoing commitment to provide our clients with best in class service, we would like to give you a further update in relation to ElectroRoute’s business continuity measures during the COVID-19 crisis.

As mentioned previously, ElectroRoute has a resilient cloud-based infrastructure and trading system which was designed with the ability to work remotely as a key feature.  The full ElectroRoute team has been working from home since 12th March and in that time,  ElectroRoute’s trading team and settlement team has been continuing with all of its trading and balancing activities, settlement management and other services as normal without any disruption or delay.

To date, we have not experienced any disruption or concerns with any of the counterparties on which we rely, such as SEMO, SEMOpx or the SEMOpx clearing banks. Each of these bodies have put in place business continuity measures to cover this period.  We will let you know if any issues arise or where have any concerns in this regard.

We continue to closely monitor official guidance and advice in relation to the appropriate steps that should be taken to respond to COVID-19.
